Block B released their track entitled NalinA back on February 1, 2012.
The track is a beautiful fusion of K-Pop with a dash of hip-hop. It’s hype without stepping too far outside of the K-Pop box and yet the group brand NalinA with their very own style and sound.
The M/V in case you don’t remember, shows the guys out for a night of troublemaking in the darker side of a bad neighborhood. This is Block B’s playground. The scenes all lead to the final showdown in which the two Block B factions face off on the rooftop of the Block B warehouse.
I still remember why I fell in love with this song. It’s this part of the song that did it:
I don’t know I don’t know I don’t know
But I’m hard, hard
You know what You know what You know what
What I mean, mean
I was like, Whaa? How coool of them! Block B are that lovable combination of playful, wise-cracking bad boy and they pull off that concept so well.
NalinA peeked at No. 11 on the Gaon Digital Chart and remains a classic track that further defined Block B’s K-Pop legacy.
